Juanjo and Yolanda are a couple in and outside the kitchen. They trained at catering schools in Santiago de Compostela and Madrid, respectively, and went on from there to work at temples of gastronomy like Arzak, El Amparo, Zalacaín or La Broche de Madrid, Casa Marcelo or Echaurren, to mention just a few of them.
In 2003 they launched their own project, a cosy little gourmet restaurant called Cocinandos with eight tables and room for thirty diners. This is a restaurant where they serve a modernised, updated version of traditional cuisine which is mainly based on traditional Leon cooking and local produce.
